A Mom Exchange

Ever wonder why this is our profile picture?

Look at her. 💛

She has FOUR hands… and she’s still juggling.

That’s it. That’s motherhood to me.

It’s life. Period.

The kids. The work. The appointments. The groceries. The laundry you forgot was in the washer. The text you meant to respond to three days ago. The thing you SWORE you put on the calendar. Trying to show up for everyone while also remembering that you are, in fact, a person too.

And I drop things.

A lot.

I forget things. I get overwhelmed. I have days where I feel like I absolutely crushed it… and days where one more tiny thing feels like it might be the thing that takes me out.

I’m not sharing things on this page because I have motherhood figured out.

Quite literally the opposite. 😂

A Mom Exchange exists because I DON'T have it all figured out.

I need the reminders.
I need the village.
I need the shortcuts.
I need other moms.

Sometimes I need someone to tell me I'm not losing my mind.

And sometimes I just need to hear, “yeah… me too.” 💛

Because there are hard days.

There are seasons where it feels like you're dropping every single thing you're trying so hard to hold onto.

You're allowed to feel defeated sometimes.
You're allowed to have a hard day.
You're allowed to not handle everything perfectly.
You're allowed to put a few things down.

But also… give yourself a little credit.

Every single hard day that came before this one somehow became a day you made it through.

Maybe not gracefully. Maybe not without falling apart a little. Maybe with a few dropped balls and some questionable coping mechanisms. 😂

But you did.

And I don't think life suddenly gets easier. I think we just keep getting a little better at knowing that the hard parts won't always feel this hard.

So feel defeated today if you need to.

Drop a ball.
Put something down.
Ask for help.
Cry in the car.
Order the pizza.

Just don't let a hard season convince you that you can't pick yourself — or those balls — back up.

You've done it before. 💛
