Aggie Treats

She’s a former teacher, a single mom, and — in her words — a mom of three: two with paws and one without. Aggie Treats is named after Agnes, the family’s golden, and what started with one flavor has grown to six. Through all of that growth, she’s still the one behind every batch — homemade, all-natural, hand-cut and hand-stamped. But if you know the mama behind Aggie Treats, you know the treats are only a tiny piece of what makes her special. She is one of those people who brings a little more light into a room simply by being in it. Her happiness is contagious, her heart is enormous, and kindness seems to come naturally to her. It’s genuinely hard to spend time around her without smiling a little more yourself. She believes in random acts of kindness, Jason Mraz songs have been known to make her cry, and she says she and her daughter would be absolutely lost without Aggie and Harley. And that’s really what Mom Approved is about. Yes, we love supporting local mama-owned businesses. But even more than that, we love getting to introduce you to the incredible mamas behind them.
