Let's Play at the Library: Dia de Los Muertos

About This Event

Music, art and memories come together in a colorful and uplifting "Dia de Los Muertos" celebration! All are welcome and invited to remember lost loved ones together in community, in the McGuire Community Room. This family friendly event is FREE and open to ALL! Music and storytime will be provided by Miriam Picó of Mindful and Musical. Art projects will be provided by Laura Adams. A colorful altar will be provided to display pictures of loved ones, friends and pets who have passed away. Bring a photo of a loved one if you would like to share or come to enjoy the music and art. Ms. Miriam has been offering this event for the past eleven years, through her business Mindful and Musical. She is thrilled to team up once again with her "Let's Play!" partner, art teacher Ms. Laura, for this uplifting pop-up celebration!
