Explore, Learn and Create with Wimee from PBS

About This Event

Families, preschool, elementary. Join PBS and YouTube character Wimee the Robot at the library for a fun, interactive storytelling adventure. Share your ideas and help create stories with the Wimage Board, where words become pictures. Plus, meet the Wimee mascot and take a photo together! This program is designed to not only inspire a love of reading, but to ensure children leave with a book and an experience that continues on beyond the event. The first 40 to attend will receive a free autographed Wimee book. Wimee is a lovable robot puppet that loves to make new friends and help kids increase their literacy and storytelling skills. He can be found hosting every episode of his show, Wimee’s Words, which continues to focus on inspiring kids through storytelling, creativity, and educational play. Bring your imagination- we'll create together! No sign-up required.
