In a boating emergency, quick thinking is vital to survival. Become a safe and confident boater with this fundamental U.S. Power Squadron course. Successful completion qualifies you for personal watercraft operator certification in Michigan. Learn boat terminology, safe watercraft operation, rules and regulations, boat navigation, and communication. We'll discuss how to deal with a boat in adverse conditions and how to operate a boat trailer and a personal watercraft. You will also learn how to tie knots that are essential to boating.
