Kids Free Fishing Day

About This Event

Join us for Kids Free Fishing Day on Saturday, June 20, from 9 a.m.–1 p.m. at NMC’s Great Lakes Campus. More than 500 brown trout will be stocked in the harbor. Fishing rods, reels and bait are provided free of charge. Young anglers can enjoy hands-on help from volunteers, a fish painting activity from the Great Lakes Children's Museum, fish cleaning by the Northwest Michigan Fishing Club and even a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter flyover! NWMI Fishing Club U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Traverse City Kids must be accompanied by an adult. No registration required.
