Explore how rocks form, change and shape the world around us while getting hands-on with the science of rocks and minerals. What’s Rockin’? Explore Local Rocks & Fossils Discover some of the fascinating rocks and fossils found right here in Northern Michigan, including Petoskey Stones, Charlevoix Stones, “Yooperlites” and more! Be a Paleontologist for the Day Kids can clean and identify a fossil just like a real paleontologist — and then take their fossil home! Whether your little scientist loves rocks, your family loves to dance, or you just love a good birthday celebration, this party is sure to ROCK! All special activities are free with regular admission or membership.
