Nature Makers with Challenge Island

About This Event

Join us each Wednesday on the front lawn during the Summer Reading Club to unearth a story via hands on, science-oriented fun with science education organizations from our region. This week, Challenge Island NW MI is here. The first book in the Challenge Island book series is The Bridge to Shark Tooth Island. Your family can shark attack these STEAM challenges and build a Hungry Shark Maze game to take home! You'll be able to make a maze path that flows through the ocean with the end of the maze leading into the shark’s mouth. Add creatures, obstacles, and dead ends ....making it an underwater wonderland. Give each creature points and see how many food energy points you can "collect" to feed the hungry shark at the end! Challenge your family to get a higher score! You can also try your strength with a Da Vinci Dive tank and/or make the always popular happy snappy shark!
